I've always been late to the internet game. Reluctantly joining Spacebook and Twatter after prolonged periods of incessant pleas to "get with the times" being a prime example. And well, my entrance into the wonderful world of blogging has been no different. Welcome to 1999, Monsieur. Don't know why I went French there. I can assure you I haven't given up already.
I've warmed to social networking sites in a way I never thought I would, but this peacock needs to fly. 140 characters just isn't enough to express my views. Also, I've got exams on the horizon and I need a new project to keep this cycle of procrastination and late cramming going. Don't doubt the method, it has served me so well through the years.
So now that I've explained the motives behind the blog it would probably be a good idea tell you about its content. As you can see from my marvelously concise About Me paragraph (on the right, below the devilishly handsome gent in the hat) I am a self-confessed film nerd, and damn proud of it. Films. Internet. Put two and two together and you'll probably get illegal downloading but I chose the more honest route and decided to start a film blog.
The premise: Every time I watch a movie, whether it's a new release or a classic, a first time viewing or a re-watch, a critically acclaimed drama or even, god forbid, a Nicolas Cage film, If I've managd to sit through the whole thing I will post a blog entry about it. I will try to uphold this promise as well as I can even if it means 50 blogs on Collateral and American History X. Yeah, I watch those two a lot.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy and expect the first entry soon.
